On February 15, 2025, Dorchester Intermediate singers worked with poet Carmin Wong in a special workshop! Through a partnership with Castle of Our Skins where Carmin is a Creative in Residence, Carmin is providing workshops for our intermediate choirs that explore youth leadership, voice, and community responsibility through Francis Ellen Watkins Harper’s poetry and activism.
Each student will craft an original poem or stanza, and select works will be featured in BCC’s “We Are the Change” concert on March 29th!
