Esther Garcia Moreno
Collaborative Pianist
Esther Garcia Moreno joined Boston Children’s Chorus as a collaborative pianist in 2023. She is studying for her Master’s Degree in Collaborative Piano at Boston University. Her journey as a pianist started at an early age in Madrid, Spain, where she grew up and lived for seventeen years. She completed her Professional Degree in Music at the Conservatory of Arturo Soria of Madrid with a mention of honor in Chamber Music, one of her biggest passions. She then moved to the US to pursue a degree in Music education at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Playing for both vocalists and instrumentalists and taking voice lessons as an undergraduate student led her to develop a great passion and appreciation for the art of collaborative piano.
Esther has studied solo piano at music festivals in Spain, such as Pirineos Classic, and has worked as a pianist for opera rehearsals in Italy at La Musica Lirica. Her vocal and pianistic skills made it possible for her to participate in an opera production and several choirs both as a soprano and collaborative pianist. Her musical sensitivity and perseverance allow her to quickly adapt to the rehearsal pace and needs of the soloists and ensembles she works with.
