Gustavo Cruz

Boston native Gustavo Cruz is an aspiring choral conductor and music teacher who has been involved in choirs since the age of seven years old. He is passionate about choral singing and bringing light to others through the joy, community, and expression of music. He first discovered his love for singing participating in church choir with his family. He continued to participate in competitive show choir as a member of “Pop Vox” at Everett High School, where he earned a Best Male Soloist award at the Central Mass Show Choir Festival in 2018, for his rendition of “Imagine” by John Lennon. He received a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education from Bridgewater State University, as he diligently participated in the Choral and Chamber Choir groups with future ambitions to pursue a Master’s Degree in Choral Conducting.
