Michael Bryant Kessie is a senior at Boston University, studying Music Education. A Flemington, New Jersey native, Michael’s first experiences with music and singing began on Sundays in church as a kid singing gospel music in choir. Since then, Michael has amassed a wide range of experiences from performing jazz with big bands, singing R&B and pop with his a capella group as its performance director, and appearing in collegiate productions of musicals such as Sweeney Todd and Little Shop of Horrors. Above all else, Michael is excited to help grow the young musicians of Boston as a teaching artist with Boston Children’s Chorus.
