With over a decade of experience in successful operations management, a deep passion for music and the performing arts, and a strong commitment to fostering vibrant community spaces, Sara is thrilled to join this BCC community as Chief of Staff. She has spent much of her professional life as a creative thinker and problem solver in for-profit, nonprofit and creative spaces. She comes most recently from senior leadership at an independent school where she strengthened community and communication across students, parents, and staff with straightforward integrity, kindness and warmth. She is excited to work with the BCC community to deepen connection and sense of belonging for the rising generation of creators and the adults who serve and support them.

Sara is an active musician, playing trombone and singing. She has been performing in and around Boston for the past twenty years in a variety of genres– out in the street through community events like Honk!Festival and Wake Up the Earth, as well as supporting national and international touring artists, and everything in between.
