This season, Boston Children’s Chorus (BCC) explores themes of poverty and socioeconomic class and how that shapes the world in which we all live. Our singers will examine the origins of the Poor People’s Campaign and the broad work of Coretta Scott King, share the stage with Boston’s A Far Cry, perform a newly commissioned community opera with Boston Lyric Opera, engage in community partnerships around deepening and developing civic leadership, and travel on a performance tour to Cape Town, South Africa.

Join us for a season where we lift our voices to celebrate and amplify the efforts of local and national leaders who work to advance equity, dignity, and opportunity across historically marginalized communities.
